Halloween-still catching up

I love the Fall and carving pumpkins. The kids had a great time this year. They all took turns (except Samanth--she just watched). For Halloween we did the Wizard of Oz. Caroline was Dorothy, Jacob the Tin Man, Scott was the Scarecrow, Natalie the Good Witch, Samantha the Lion and I was the bad witch. It turned out very cute. See the pictures below.

It Has Been a Long Time

It has been a long time since I put something up here. Here are some pictures of the kids from October. Samantha is getting so big!! We also were lucky to get a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Browning back in October. We went to the zoo and had a great time.

Grabbing her toes!

Labor Day Weekend

We had the BEST weekend with my family in Missouri. The weather was gorgeous so the kids were able to be outside to run and play. We were able to spend lots of good cousin and grandparent time. Here are some pics from the weekend.
Caroline, Avery, and Natalie warmed up to eachother pretty quickly. They had a lot of fun playing together

Grandpa with the girls!

Even Emily and Samantha were able to bond. Samantha is sooo jealous because Emily can put bows in her hair and Samantha. . . well has no hair.

Me with my two BIG girls.

Grandma giving the big kids a ride in the golf cart.

The girls had fun just climbing on the cart. We had to hide the keys though. This looks like trouble in about 12 years!!!

We LOVE Grandma and Grandpa's playground. We spend hours swinging and sliding.

Then of course we needed a bath to get all the dirt off.

The boys on the boat relaxing!!! Jacob getting ready to ski.

Jacob popped up both times he went skiing. He is getting really good at this!!

Big Smiles when he is done. . .water was COLD!!

Caroline and I just watched.

Jacob jumping off the dock.

Caroline even tried getting in.

Grandpa made some cute little stools out of logs for the girls to sit on. LOVED IT!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!
The last night was a cook out with hot dogs and smores!!!

Grandma and Grandpa had to hold babies while we made smores for the big kids.

Scott got the job of roasting the mallows

Thanks Aunt Carrie for the great idea of using fudge cookies to make smores (much easier than candy bars and grahams)

We had a great time. The best part was spending a whole weekend playing with my beautiful children. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for this great place to watch them just be kids. Thank you God for my wonderful family and a gorgeous weekend!!!!

First Day of School

Can you believe it is the beginning of another year. Jacob is starting 6th grade and Caroline is in PK-4. They both have amazing teachers again this year (and a pretty handsome principal!!) We took a moment to pose for the traditional first day of school pictures.

Baptism Weekend

This past weekend was Samantha's Baptism. So many of our family were able to make it and we were so thankful. What an amazing weekend we had. Of course it was also the hottest weekend of the year so far. We started Friday night with a pool party at our friends the Schmand's. The kids had a great time and I think the adults enjoyed it as well.
